Available to those who come to stay with us is a communal kitchen with full cooking facilities, equipped with dishwasher, fridge and lots of other cookware necessary to go ahead and be creative. Don’t feel like cooking? Let’s us do that as we share with you, our guest, this love for cooking and our delight of the local cuisine. Using fresh vegetables from our very own garden and fruits, cheese and meat and other delicacies from the neighbor’s farm. Allowing you to experience a true farm to table experience while enjoying a glass of wine by the fireplace located in the living room or the garden area outside. Our social area is a wonderful place to come sit, eat and drink while taking a breathtaking view. Our night sky is like no other for it is uninterrupted by the city lights as, “Cabanas do Lago”, is in one of the most unpopulated areas of Alentejo which allows for a viewing of a sky filled with the jewels of the night, a true vision for those who enjoy star gazing. If you would like to touch the water, take a nice casual short stroll on the path lined with Oak and Olive Trees. The lake water in Spring and Summer are famous for its warm temperatures, perfect for a swim or just to relax and float all your troubles away.
